Alfredo Martini con una Wilier Triestina, 62 anni dopo. La Cento1 SL consegnatagli da Andrea Gastaldello è l’ultima nata della lunga stirpe di biciclette da corsa di cui è stato progenitore il modello in acciaio ramato con cui il grande saggio del ciclismo italiano corse nel 1948  nel 1949.

Un gesto concreto per testimoniare l’affetto e la riconoscenza che lega Wilier Triestina ad Alfredo Martini, nel ricordo di tutto ciò che ha fatto e dei valori che continua a simboleggiare per il   ciclismo.

Durante la festa organizzata per i suoi 90 anni, il grande Alfredo è stato omaggiato anche di una maglia del Team Wilier (rappresentato nell’occasione dal presidente Antonio Marcon), assieme al titolo di membro onorario a vita del club.

Alfredo Martini and Wilier Triestina together again, 62 years later.

The Cento1 SL given to him by Andrea Gastaldello is the latest model in the long line of racing bikes whose progenitor was the “Gioiello Ramato” that  the great sage of the Italian cycling rode in 1948 and 1949.

A concrete sign to witness the affection and gratitude that links Wilier Triestina to Alfredo Martini, in memory of all he has done and of the values he continues to symbolize for cycling.

During the festival organized for his 90 years, the great Alfredo was also honoured with a jersey of Wilier Team (represented by the president Antonio Marcon), together with the title of honorary member to the club.
