The first win of the season for Damiano Cunego in the 2^nd stage of the Giro del Trentino comes as a liberation. An interlocutory stage of 152 km from Mori to S. Orsola Terme.

Excellent work by the Lampre-Isd.

In the final climb (last 9 km)  Niemiec and Marzano (Cunego’s teammate) drove the decisive forcing to reduce the group to 9 units.

Michele Scarponi drove a great long final for Cunego’s sprint, who anticipates Betancur and Kreuziger.

Now it’s time for a well-deserved rest but tomorrow Poison Peak (Punta Veleno in italian) illuminates the challenge!
