TODAY IS THE DAY OF MICHELE SCARPONI: CROWNED AS KING OF THE GIRO 2011

All Team Lampre-ISD riders came in yesterday at Herning – Denmark, where Saturday will starts officially the 95° Giro d’ Italia.

But today is the day of Michele Scarponi and his coronation as “Pink Jersey of the Giro d’ Italia 2011”.
The italian athlete will be rewarded by Michele Acquarone (The general manager of the Giro) in the headquarter of the first stage (Michele obtained the leadership after the disqualification of Alberto Contador).

A great satisfaction for the “Eagle of Filottrano” and all Team Lampre-ISD.
We are sure they are looking for another success.

Let’s wait for Michele Scarponi and all other champions on the streets of this Giro. Let’s be carried by the magics and the history of this Italian sport monument, with the hope to view an epic cycling.

    mio avviso non partirei con maglia rosa in onore
    di Alberto Contador
    dovevano Squalificarlo prima non farlo partecipare poi una volta vinto è suo il giro
    Marco Pantani ed Eddy Merckx non li hanno squalificati che stavano vincendo il giro
