A city completely pink. Flags, bows, waiters, bartenders and fans all pink dressed have enthusiastically welcomed the launch of the Giro d’ Italia. We are in Denmark, about 1600 km far from Italy but it seems to be at home.
The appeal of the Giro infects people as if they were on the top of Pordoi Pass. Even the local football team (playing in the Danish league) played with a throughout uniform pink.

The first pink jersey is Thaylor Phinney, twenty-two years old American rider of Team BMC (under 23 time trial world champion in 2010)
