Among the winning innovations featured at the TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards 2014, a competition organised by the international forum design (IF Design), was the Cento1AIR, WILIER TRIESTINA’s new aerodynamic racing frame.
The development and increasing popularity of the TAIPEI CYCLE show, year after year, reflect the rapid leap forward made by the cycle industry in Asia and around the world. In the last few editions, the TAIPEI CYCLE show, now in its 26th edition, has hosted the prestigious TAIPEI CYCLE Design & Innovation Award, a valued and important acknowledgement that manufacturers and insiders of the cycling industry compete for.
Cento1AIR combines the incredible stiffness, agility and ease of steering of the Cento1SR with the sophisticated aerodynamics and design of the time trial TwinBlade model. The impressive design solutions (aerodynamic and integrated fork, BB386EVO bottom bracket, aerodynamic rear, aero seatpost, cable guide plate, integrated cables, 3D fork) convinced the jury assigning the coveted award. It will be awarded on 4 March 2014, the day before the Taipei Cycle Show (the largest cycling exhibition in Asia) opens to the public (5 – 8 March 2014).
