Perhaps you’ve already heard it.
It’s called #salvaiciclisti. It’s a spontaneous and voluntary campaign, born from the web, with the intention of bringing to light the many issues on the safety of cyclists in Italy (urban, sports and otherwise) through the involvement of newspapers, media, celebrities, government, politics and brands that are particularly sensitive to social issues.

If today’s issue of safety of cyclists is in the front pages of newspapers, is due to the tenacious and persistent work of many bloggers / cyclists who are committed to giving voice to their essential need for security.

The idea, daughter of the campaign “cities fit for cycling” launched by the Times of London, has found almost instantly the support of thousands of people, newspapers like Republica, Gazzetta dello Sport, the Corriere della Sera, municipalities as Rome, Florence, Milan, Turin, coming up at the tables of the Italian Senate with a bill drafted by Sen. Ferrante.

Even Wilier Triestina wants to support the #salvaiciclisti commitment.
Cycling is great. Doing it safely is wonderful.

Anyone willing to deepen their knowledge of movement, could partecipate to the security issue with the round table organized by RCS and Gazzetta dello Sport.
