Wilier Triestina, once again, has gained the first place in the most beautiful and prestigious granfondo of the world. After Edith Vanden Branden’s past victories (in the female granfondo) it was the time of Michel Snel. The dutch athlete won the granfondo after the second place in 2011 and the third place in 2012. Michel Snel, 40 years old, rides for Team Wilier-Etixx, amateur team born from Team Veltec, always Belgium based.The dutch athlete arrived in La Villa after 138 km and 4 hours, 43 minutes and 29 seconds, 3 minutes before Vittorio Pisani, delayed in the last kms of Passo Falzarego. At the arrive, Michel Snel, smiling has declared: “It was a perfect day, third last year, second in 2011 and first place today. This year I’ve decided to back here for win. I trained on this mountains with my friends. I’m so happy to win this race in this amazing landscape. At 40 years old the satisfaction is bigger. Many compliments to the organization: road and downhill was totally safety!”

Once again, Zero.7 has confirmed to be the perfect bike for the amateur who love climbing.
