I know, the answer is pretty obvious.
But putting everything in a row that catapults our thoughts to the atmospheres of the great north, gave a certain panache.

It ‘s springtime, it’s s  time of great classics.
The 1st of April  is coming and along with it the much-anticipated Tour of Flanders
In Belgium, Tour of Flanders is considered  as well as  a top football match in Italy.

The race of the year.

A race felt by the riders, even more by fans and Flemish.
Some numbers witnessing this fact: 95 editions held, 67 were won by Belgian riders.

No outsider has won the Flemish race until 1932. He was the Swiss rider Heiri Suter.

But the real conqueror of Flanders was not belgian or swiss but an Italian.. riding a Wilier Triestina.
